They got it when they were 21. There was a young girl that wanted to be a tattoo artist, and she had been practicing. She had practiced all that she could without actually tattooing people. She asked if she could practice, and they said yes, figuring it would be easily covered if it was not very good. Luckily, she did an alright job, and Hakuna Matata is the phrase they thought would be best.
Laughing Coffin tattoo: This is symbol from an anime called Sword Art Online. There is a symbol of a guild in there called Laughing Coffin. In the game it was the most feared guild because all they did was kill other people. They thought it was cool, and they are planning on later getting 2 more tattoos: a cuff for evil, and a cuff for good.
