Get Paid To Search the Web!

I don’t get a referral bonus if you search with Bing. Bing used to have a referral link, but they canceled it. I almost called this post, “get paid to not use Google,” but I decided against it.

Bing is not better than Google for searching. If you want to search who is in a movie, Bing works. If you need an address or a restaurant menu, then Bing is ok. If you are looking for how to do something, maybe go back to Google.

Google used to be great, but it has gone downhill. The search results are more controlled and limited. I often can’t find what I am looking for on Google anymore. DuckDuckGo is not great either. I miss the old Google.

I have Bing set up on my Android following these directions. You get 5 points on each search, and when you get to 5250 points, you get a $5 Amazon gift card. You can get anywhere from 30 to 50 points a day going to your dashboard. You get a bonus if you complete your dashboard for enough days in a row. You can get up to 150 points a day searching from your desktop, and 100 points a day from your phone. You can get points a couple other ways as well. If you just do the dashboard, phone, and desktop, you can get $5 from Amazon every 17 days.

I can do enough searches to get the points in less than 10 minutes a day.

Let me know how this works out for you. If you cant stand using Bing, I understand.  It took me some time to get used to it. For me, it’s fun to get paid for doing things I’d do anyways.

Get paid to walk!

My Achievement: I get a 100 point sign-on bonus if you sign up through my link.

This app is easy. I have it connected to my FitBit. You can also connect it to MyFitnessPal, MapMyRun, Apple Health, Google Fit, and more. Once you get 10,000 points, you get $10 via Paypal.

I have only used it in the FitBit app. It gives you points when you track your walking, exercise, sleeping, water, and record your weight. If these are things you are doing anyway, you might as well get a little money. $20 a year for doing what I am already doing is a nice bonus, and these bonuses add up.

Let me know if you are using My Achievement, and any issues you might have had with it.

Earn Money With Drop!

I get a small bonus if you use my link to sign up to the Drop app! Drop is great! I currently get points from buying things with linked credit cards from: Trader Joes (12 points per dollar=ppd) , Dunkin Donuts (14 ppd), Target (8 ppd), Uber(10 pdd), and McDonald’s (8 ppd). I just have to use any of my linked credit cards. Once you earn 10,000 points, you get a $10 gift card. You also get 5,000 points just for joining with my link!

The Upside:
1. You get lots of bonuses. There are options in the app at other stores, and lots of things you may already use. You just have to add them. A little annoying, but you will want to check your points once a month anyway.

The Downside:
1. When you first setup you account you have to select your 5 primary reward offers. NOTE: YOU CAN NOT CURRENTLY CHANGE THESE. I can’t even see what the options are anymore. I understand they are working on changing this, however as of now they have not. So whatever you select is what you are stuck with.

2. The only real reward to me was the Amazon credit. Not bad, but not great. I would prefer airline miles, Venmo, or a Paypal option.

Summary:
In countries like China, they know the government is always watching them. In the U.S. it’s no different. This company watches what you spend money on, and pays you for your data in credits. Since I understand I am most likely watched (yes even on a vpn), I would rather get paid for it. I recommend to sign up, and though you’re being watched, you’re being paid for the view.

Robinhood Stock Trading Review

I highly recommend using Robinhood for trading. I also need to note that if use my link you will get a free stock, and I will get a free stock. The stock “could” be high-caliber like Apple, however you are more likely to get a stock worth under $5.00.

Robinhood gives you free stock trades. If you use this correctly you can create your own fund without any annual fee or charge. This could be better then Vanguard. I am currently attempting to make my own cannabis fund, and  dividend fund. You can buy 1 share of a company, at it does not cost you a purchase fee, or selling fee. When I don’t have any ideas on what to buy, I go to Vanguard’s list of all of the stocks they own, and I pick one of those. Then you are buying the stock you want, and not paying anyone. If the stock goes up or down you still pay Robinhood nothing.

How does Robinhood make money? I think they do weird things with the trades, so just put in limit orders if you are questioning the value on a stock you purchase. When I buy a stock, I make sure I set a limit. They also make some money off any money sitting in your account.

Day trading with Robinhood: I don’t do day trading. If you do it more then 3 times in a month they put you on a short list. This is some rule from the FCC.

Let me know if you use Robinhood, or if you think something else is better. Thank you! -Joe Joe

Ebates – Earn Cash!

ebates

If you click on this link and join, I will get a reward!

Other sites pay more, but I still use Ebates.

Here is why I enjoy using Ebates:
* I only use Ebates with the Chrome extension. If you take a long time to pick what you are going to buy, most sites will try to kick out the referring site reward. The Chrome extension will see this, and allow you to reset the connection so you still get the reward (or discount).
* Ebates will send you a check, even if it’s a tiny amount. One of my checks was for $3.58. It’s not a ton of money, but I don’t spend that much online. It is an easy way to get a discount on stuff you would buy anyway.
* It’s like adding a coupon without have to look for one.

If you have a site you like more than Ebates, let me know in the comments what you use. Also let me know how much money you have gotten back.
