Imagine Peace and Death in Las Pampas

This was my first tattoo. I am from Argentina. This is from Las Pampas, which is the plains of Argentina. The Gauchos were the cowboys of the land. This is a very typical design in the area. It is a presentation of your journey through life. It has mountains, valleys, heaven, earth, and the beyond. I felt this represented my roots. It also connected to my journey through life and the things you have to go through.

Imagine Peace Dove is my second tattoo. “Dove” is from Picasso. “Imagine” is by John Lennon. I got this after I graduated with my master’s, which I did while working full-time. I was also raising two children. It was my way of reminding myself that everything is possible. It also stated to me that education gives you freedom.

Skull and Roses tattoo. This is a tribute to both of my parents, who are deceased. Each rose represents one of them. It is also a homage to Los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. I had a fascination with that meaning and celebration. It is a way to be connected to them. The colors are light blue and yellow. This is to connect to the Argentinian flag.
